Last day of February

Well, I really don't have anything special to post. The boys are doing well w/school, I am doing well w/school, I still have work for a few weeks while we still have some snow up on the mountain. It seems as if spring is trying to show its face every now and again, like today. Supposed to be nice w/sunny skies, but than tomorrow and midweek we are due for a possible snow storm. So who knows....But spring is just around the corner as baseball signups are taking place and whenever that happens, we know it won't be long.

I guess our life seems a bit hum-drum right now. Nothing really happening, but that will change shorty. As Derek knows in just a few weeks, we will be consumed with baseball and fishing, so I guess I will take this hum-drum for now.

Our New Hampshire Holiday

Here are some stories and photos of our New Hampshire holiday. We left last Thurs.night and did not arrive until 1230am, and preceded to stay up chatting and had a few beers until 2am? Friday was a late start and than Mike took the boys to a local ski area for 1/2day of skiing, as did Chris, Jen and Tyler. I stayed home w/Jen and Adelaide and did homework (or tried). Saturday was an early start for the grownup skiiers as they were gone by I think 6am? (And just to point out the grownups, that would be Mike, Chris, Jen, John and Tyler.) They drove 1 1/2 hours north to Cannon ski resort and were there all day. Jen and kids and myself and kids stayed home again, and I finished homework and actually I had to drive into town to the local library to take a quiz and submit homework. The boys went outside for some iceskating, snowshoeing and just played in the snow. (I got 16 out of 20 on my quiz, just so you know, and thanks to all who tried to help me) Trip and Wendy stopped in on there way home from Killington to say hello and they decided to come back and spend the day on Sunday. The "grownups" came back from Canon and were a bit tired and achey. We had a great dinner of steak and potatoes and salad and than a sauna ended the evening. Sunday was a beautiful day and John cooked up a great breakfast. Thanks John! This was a leisurely start to the very eventful day. Trip and Wendy came back and out came the dirtbikes. We did have a bit of a casualty as John and Jen (Bodnar) had a bit of an accident. Jen took the brunt of it (she protected my brother) and we had to do some first aid on her knee. It looks like she is heading to the dr. today as her sister thinks she may have tore something. What a story though Jen! Sunday also included some snowboarding outside, more skating and driving a remote control car in the driveway. Lots of talking, laughing and eating took place and I believe everyone just enjoyed themselves. We said goodnight to Uncle John as he had to get up for work the next morning, but, he ended up not going as Benton got sick with a bad cough and they ended up taking him to the doctor on Monday morning. Good news is, he got some medicine and he is on the road to recovery.
So another winter holiday in NH as come to an end and we again thank John and Jen and Benton and Adeldaide for putting up with 7 Bodnars in their house at one time. We hope you enjoyed yourselves too and can't wait for the summer trip! Thanks for the memories.......:)

Off to New Hampshire....

Hello to everyone. Hope all are doing well. The Bodnar family is heading out on Thursday afternoon for a few days of skiing and skating and sledding up in snowy New Hampshire. It will be a 7hour drive for us, but the weather looks good, so we shouldn't have any issues with snow or ice. The boys are so very excited to go and see Uncle John, Aunt Jen, Benton and newest cousin Adelaide. John and Jen do not have internet connection where they live (I know!!), so I will be out of touch for a few days. Although, we may make it into town to the local library and I may be able to get online there and post some pictures. (Jen tells me sometimes their internet connection goes down) They also do not have cable or satellite tv (I know!!), so we really will be out of touch for the next few days. But it is actually nice to really get away from it all. Will be in touch when I can, if you don't "hear" from me, than we will be back in PA next Monday night.
