Fabulous Weekend!!!

Here I sit, 10pm, just finished reading about Leanne and family and I just had to update you in a quick post. We had a fabulous weekend with lots of sun and blue skies and of course baseball, but we also got a very early rafting trip in! Will fill you in on all the details when I am more awake, just very tired and need to get to bed.

Our Baseball Weekend

This past weekend, we all trekked down to Aberdeen, MD (which w/the traffic on the blue route took 3hrs instead of 2hrs15min)..Anyway, we had a great weekend and Saturday was a beautiful day and we actually took out the sunblock and used it for the first time this spring. L.Michael along with his Venom teammates played 2games on Saturday. Unfortunately they lost both, but they were excellent games and the boys were all hitting and playing hard. After some swimming in the pool and having some birthday cake (Happy Birthday Deb), we had dinner (yup, we ate in reverse order that night) the boys were all tired and they still had more baseball to play. Sunday morning rolled around and we packed up from the hotel and headed back to the stadium, where the boys played there final game, which they WON!!! Even though they won, they did not make it into the playoffs and we were on our way home..It really was a nice weekend away and we are very proud of Michael and the way he played!

Happy Easter Continued.....

We had a very nice day with everyone together....After spending the morning at Rogers house, we came home and had Lori and kids come down, Jen and kids come up, and A.Carol, Missy, Court and Baby Kendra come over...so we had them coming from all directions! And we had some good conversations, some good eats and some good photos to follow.....it was great to have everyone together....now we are settling down and watching some baseball and than grilling some steaks.....Hoppy Easter everyone!!!

Happy Easter to all!! Hope everyone has had or is having a great day. Our day started very early today. We went to church at 645am and than down to Mike's dad's house and now we are back home. Jen, Benton and Adelaide are down from New Hampshire and the extended family is coming over to our house to visit for a bit while they are here. The sun is shining today, but it is very cold and windy outside today. No outside egg hunts today. They will be moved inside. Photos to follow.....
