Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Yesterday was our Thankgiving Holiday, and it was a fantastic day....The morning began with breakfast down at Chris and Jen's house, where we had eggs, bacon, sausage, steak and potatoes!!...Tyler took Michael, Justin and Patrick to our annual football game between Northampton and Catasauqua...(we lost)...after that everyone converged onto our home where the kids all played in the backyard and we sat on the deck enjoying the beautiful sunshine...before long, the sun started to go down and it got cool, so inside we came to watch some more football before dinner was done....With the help of everyone, we had a huge spread....and very tasty too....it consisted of: Ham, turkey (done 2 ways) (baked and deep fried), homemade stuffing, green beans, pumpkin, corn, salad (done 2 ways), homemade crannberry sauce and rolls and gravy!...it was so very good and everyone was stuffed!...we cleaned up and made some coffee and than it was time for dessert..many items to choose from: pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, banana cake, peanut butter pie, peacan pie and lemon kiffles...luckily we cut everything very small, so we could try lots of things....everyone headed home not too long after that, as we were full and tired. And some of us (Jen), were planning on hitting the shopping malls at midnite to partake in some of the fantastic deals they were offering for Black Friday....below you will see our day....(oh, and we did do video call with Leanne and Darbs and everyone got to say hello...)....it was almost like having you here...you just couldn't smell or taste anything....lol...

Happy Halloween...
Yesterday was October 31 and Northampton had our trick or treat night. We headed down to Chris, Jen's and baby Chase's house. (as they are the only ones who actually live in town)....we not only had trick or treat, but we also celebrated Nick's birthday with the family. Now we did go out for a family birthday celebration last Tuesday---his actual birthday, but this was the only time to get together with extended family......so, we celebrated with pizza and cupcakes and of course candy!...it was a pretty strange trick or treat night as we still have snow on the ground. Don't know if that has ever happened before. Steve and Coletta are still out of power (since Saturday night)...due to the freak snowstorm that we had over the weekend. There are still 56,000 houses without power in our area....Steve and Coletta are pretty much done with not having power. Showering at the gym...at Chris and Jen's and just trying to stay warm with the fireplace. They are due to get power back on Friday!!!!! UGH!..hopefully they get it back before than...anyways....here are some photos from last night...a mix of birthday and trick or treat...(the birthday celebration photos to follow, didn't download yet).
